Todays Bloganuary prompt is “What is a treasure that’s been lost?”
There are so many analog skills that are being lost these days and the rate of that loss has only accelerated since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
With so much work being shifted online and outsourced to the edges of the inter webs, it’s hard to imagine being able to work in an analog or face to face environment these days.
I know for many face to face is still real, but much of it was and still is behind a mask which feels really impersonal and makes communication difficult.
I think the treasure we have lost (not only because of Covid) is real in person face to face communication with people.
