The New City Catechism is a modern-day resource aimed at helping children and adults alike learn the core doctrines of the Christian faith via 52 questions and answers. The physical book is available in English and Japanese and a web version is available in English here and the Japanese questions and answers here.

I think Tim Keller does a far better job introducing this book than I can, so just have a listen.

This resource has helped my wife and I more consistently teach ourselves and our children the truths of the faith. We use the book along with the slightly abridged kid’s book to read, memorize and try to practice what we see in the scriptures as a family.
