Day 6 of the Bloganuary prompt is “Why do you write?”
I was never a very strong reader growing up and am still in constant need of a good spell checker. But I have always enjoyed writing down ideas, and short stories, and playing with words out loud (my kids don’t always enjoy the last one).
To me, writing helps me get ideas and thoughts out of my head and into a format where they can be edited, revised, and or scrapped.
