Back in October, I was asked to be a panelist along with three others at the Go Green in NAGANO Symposium put on by Nagano Prefecture. The panelists were chosen to represent four locations in Nagano that are inside different National Parks – I will like to info on each location below.
- Mt. Kurohime in Myoko Togakushi National Park
- Sugadaira Minenohara in Joshin’etsukogen National Park
- Yatsugatake Sanroku in Yatsugatake-Chūshin Kōgen Quasi-National Park
- Norikura Kogen in Chubusangaku National Park (where I live)
KURA, the well-known magazine published by Machinami Country Press ran an 11-page article on the Go Green in NAGANO project after following the university students for the 2-day event.
There is a previous post by Sustainable Brands Japan that I shared earlier that you can also check out.
I got to spend 2-days hiking and showing the students around Norikura Kogen and talking about the Norikura Kogen MIRAIZU vision (a plan to build a healthier more sustainable village).
