Waking to a typical morning in Norikura Kogen, cloudy with a blanket of fresh snow on the ground I didn’t expect the clouds to fade. By 8:30 the sun started poking through the clouds lifted to present beautiful Mount Norikura spectacularly.
I headed up to the ski resort to take a few runs and see what I could capture. The morning turned into one of the best shooting days I have had in several years. It was THE DAY!
