Pizza Party

We are facing a lot of uncertainty in the world and in our daily lives these days. On Match 2nd a decision was made by the Japanese government to close schools and limit social contact to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. On the positive side, it meant we had an extra 2.5 weeks of spring break this year, it also meant that we were not able to go do something to celebrate Ezekiel’s graduation. He was hoping to go to Disneyland as he had won some tickets last fall but as of now, a trip to Disneyland is not looking too hopeful.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

John 14:27 ESV Bible

So we decided to do a little pizza party at home to celebrate Ezekiel’s achievement. Hannah prepared some ingredients and then lead the kids in a little pizza making time and we all go to enjoy a nice meal together.

We fired up our wood stove that is also an oven and the pizzas came out quite good. After lunch, we headed to the mountain to get a few turns before the powder disappeared.
