We got out on the mountain again this week to explore around the summit of Mount Norikura.
The highlight of the trip for me was standing at the top of Mount Fujimi with one foot in Gifu Prefecture and one foot in Nagano Prefecture while looking down into Beautiful Norikura Kogen.
I always enjoy looking up at the majestic Mt. Norikura from the highlands where we live but it was a special treat to have such a clear view of our village from above.
Shuttle buses on the Nagano side from Norikura Kogen to Tatamidaira start on Monday, look for some good weather, and get out there this summer.
