Kamikochi is a beautiful place to visit and most people come during the green months but if you are up for a more challenging trip, snowshoeing is a great choice. About 20min drive from Norikura Kogen and you can be at the entrance to Kamikochi called Kama Tunnel.
Today I joined a snowshoe tour in Kamikochi that took us around the valley and through the woods. It was beautiful and well worth the hard work.
